New Challenges!

This week they will actually go into the comm info, I swear.

Frank Longbottom, Bellatrix Black and Ermine Parkinson, as well as three prefects all disappeared during this part. What happened to them before they reappeared?

AND

A drabble from the POV of the students currently attending the feast.

This weeks winners were Hufflepuff, with 30 points. =)

Stupid

Title: Stupid
House: Slytherin
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Lily/James
Author's Notes: This took me forever to get down to 100 words as it started out at 201. I swore I’d never write fanfiction for a fanfiction. But shoebox isn’t just fanfiction. I stand by that excuse. I do like how this turned out, though.

Title: Failed Pranks
House: Gryffindor
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Gideon and Fabian Prewett
Author's Notes: Some notes passed in lesons.

Faysie, can you please copy these into the Book, so we know not to do them again?

1. The semi-apparating as a ghost issue. Stupid. Big ring round that.

2. Dressing up a cat in Flitwick’s robes in order to scare Binns – you still owe me for the scars, Fay.

3. Slaves. Let’s face it – we’re not quite Godlike enough yet to command mindless loyalty. It’s a good idea, though – maybe later.

4. The Thing We Don’t Mention involving the bucket of hinkypunks, the giant squid and Goldielocks’ underpants.
Only don’t put that in the book, cos it Never Happened.

Next Time

Title: Next Time
House: Ravenclaw
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Gideon and Fabian Prewett
Author's Notes: First drabble and first piece of HP fanfiction. ^__^ Any comments and criticism would be greatly appreciated!
------------------

It was a brilliant idea. Splendid, really. And, as brilliant ideas go, it was completely impossible.

Not that impossibility ever bothered Gid'n'Fay, of course. They were, after all, Gideon and Fabian Prewett.

You would have to admit, though, that the dungbombs weren't supposed to go off until they'd left the Slytherin common room. And that fuchsia wasn't very becoming sprouting out of Fabian's head (it would much better suit Gideon, not that he'd ever admit it). And that the pranker(s) shouldn’t be found at the feet of the prankee sporting nothing but heart-patterned underwear.

Ah well, there’s always next time.

musings

Title: Musings
House: Hufflepuff
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Lily, James
Author's Notes: My first-ever drabble! Any comments would be very much appreciated. :)
------------------

Lily Evans is distinctly discombobulated. Her traitorous body ignores her brain's frantic commands to regain self-possession as she gapes at the Head Boy.

James Potter, save Snape's life? The very idea is absurd! Perhaps, she muses, there's more to him than she's given him credit for...

But no, these thoughts can only lead to more (perfectly natural) thoughts which she does NOT need. As he babbles incoherently over some strange men, she decides that particular type of thought with regards to James is best avoided, especially with Kingsley's shiny-headed solidarity awaiting her in the common room.

For now, anyway.
