Captain Jennifer Price is a member of the security team on the Battlestar Galactica. Later personal security for her former classmate and longtime friend Lee Adama. Most know her as a lifetime military officer with an unremarkable career.

What only two people know is that Jenny is not normal. She is able to use more of her brain than the average human, and as a teenager realized that she was a telepath and telekinetic. She now struggles to conceal her powers, afraid of being exiled from the fleet for being different.

But it's not easy. Jenny has never learned how to control her abilities, and it takes constant concentration for her to block out the thoughts of Galactica's crew. If she's devoted to her job, it's not because she loves it, but because it's the one thing that keeps her from literally losing her mind.

Personality

Jenny is not especially suited to be a soldier. She has a big heart, and always wants to believe the best in people. She would describe herself as a lover, not a fighter.

Rather, she serves because she wants to do some good in the universe, and because the mental challenges of the job allow her to tune out the constant noise in her mind.

Ninety-eight percent of the time Jenny is the sweetest person you'll ever meet. But wrong one of the few friends she has, and she'll get protectively angry. And an angry woman with uncontrolled powers can be unintentionally dangerous.

She'd love to be normal, but doesn't believe she will ever be that lucky.

Disclaimer

Jennifer Price is a fictional character for roleplaying in the Battlestar Galactica universe. She is open for crossovers (she started as a Star Trek character forever ago anyhow). She is not a real person. She is also not Idina Menzel, who represents her.

The Lee mentioned in her biography is not a specific Lee and no relationship is assumed to anyone else's muse; I'm happy to remove that line from her backstory to interact with Lee muses.

Other universes: Jenny's default is her Battlestar Galactica canon verse. However, she also has a modern-day AU set in the Alphas universe (wherein she ships with throwingquarters), and a Torchwood AU that can be played upon request.

About her powers: Jenny will not read any character's thoughts without prior request or approval from the other mun. If you want her to pick up on something specific, please let me know.
