As promised, my Narcissa Malfow icons. Why Narcissa? Good question. Pretty much out of the blue I had this fascination for Narcissa Malfoy and I wish, now, that JKR would've told us more about her. I know that it was impossible because she already didn't tell us all we wanted about the major characters, and Narcissa really wasn't a major one in the first place, so I understand that she couldn't have too much screen-time. But the screen-time she did have intrigued me, already in HBP, but now after DH I'm even more intrigued by her. Which is why I made icons.

The actress in the icons is Veronica Lake, I chose her because she had long blonde hair and was very beautiful. She also looks slightly arrogant in her pictures, or at least very self-assured. As we all know, narcissists are people who like looking at themselves in the mirror, which is why there's a mirror-theme in almost all the icons. The little white flower with the yellow center is a narcissus poeticus.

Seeing as I've been making so many icons, I've flirted with the idea of creating an icon journal, like so many other people. But it would be public... I don't know yet. On the one hand I'm scared of people stealing them without credit, on the other hand I'd love to share them with others.

+ Comments appreciated. I'm still a beginner so I'm kind of over-enthusiastic, so if some of them are really bad or at least not very innovative, I apologise. I realise that this could be seen as house-point-fishing, but it's not, it's just that I've FINALLY (after almost 4 years here on LJ with icons) figured out how to use photoshop. I'm not one for altering the image itself (as you will see) but more one for writing silly comments next to faces because I love doing that. The only altering I do is if the image is too dark or too boring.
