Have some gifs (14+ for language in some)

Due to my fairly sudden interest in Samurai Jack again, I've been making gifs, and lots of them.

Not all of these were made by me though, as I found some on places like Tumblr, but a good majority here.

Some are very similar as in shorter or extended versions of that particular scene (I like to have options lol).

At the back there are avatar sized gifs, for me at least, but use http://ezgif.com/resize if you wish to resize or crop any of them to fit your own needs. :)

Here's a few, but I will provide a link below to my album.

So, help yourself! Hope the link works below.

Any Samurai Jack Action Pack Downloads?

Hi there. Before I kick things off, I just joined this community, only to notice that no one has commented since 2010. Why is that? You haven't forgotten about this great series have you?

Anyway, I've been enjoying the series very much recently, after years of being out of touch with it. An excellent series to be enjoyed, even as an adult. So I've been buying this and that, reading stuff, watching stuff, etc.

Then I noticed that there have been comic strips of Samurai Jack in Cartoon Network's Action Packs, which started in 2006 I believe. These are obviously now very hard to come by, and on eBay, they would cost me too much seeing as they're only in America and I live in the UK, so yeah...

I did find a bunch of scans of them however on here. http://actionpackjack.tumblr.com/ Not every story is on there though as I have seen the odd page of other stories scattered about on the net.

What I ask is that if anyone knows of anywhere I can download or read upon these old series'?

Thanks in advance.

Genndy T: "YES I have an amazing ending figured out! Write letters! Demand that they make me do it!"

From "Toonzone Interviews Genndy Tartakovsky on Sym-Bionic Titan" by Ed Liu, 09-17-2010

HAVE YOU SEEN THIS?!

TOONZONE NEWS: Is there any more news about the Samurai Jack animated feature film you can share? Now that you're working with Cartoon Network again, are you going to try to do a finale for Samurai Jack? Do you even have an ending in mind for the show?

GENNDY TARTAKOVSKY: We are currently writing the Samurai Jack movie. All I can say is that features progress very slowly, but it seems like we are going to make it....  As far as I know CN has no plans for a finale for Samurai Jack...and YES I have an amazing ending figured out!! Write letters! Demand that they make me do it! Please!

GENNDY'S PLEADING WITH US TO WRITE TO CARTOON NETWORK TO DEMAND HE MAKE THE SAMURAI JACK FINALE MOVIE!
We can help Jack get home!
Here's Cartoon Network's Contact Us page.

SYM-BIONIC TITAN!!! + Comic-Con News! from Kevin Dart, artist

Chris Battle, former Samurai Jack artist, posted a link on his FaceBook page to the blog of Kevin Dart, current artist on Genndy Tartakovsky's new show, SYM-BIONIC TITAN. Seems like Dart finally got permission to post some of the art from the show, in honor of Genndy's upcoming appearance at Comic-Con:
SATURDAY JULY 24 AT COMIC-CON
Genndy is going to be at the Cartoon Network Action-Adventure Panel from 1:45-2:45 on Saturday. You definitely want to go to this panel! Genndy's gonna be showing some seriously AWESOME stuff from the show!
Following the panel, Genndy will be doing an EXCLUSIVE SIGNING at the Fleet Street Scandal booth at 4:00! Yes! After the panel you can make your way over to our booth (#5007) for the opportunity to meet Genndy Tartakovsky in person! I'm told he will probably be doing drawings too!

Do you get the feeling that Kevin Dart's a little excited? 'Cause I get that feeling. :D
But, seriously, check out Kevin Dart's blog. The art is quite kewl.

Blog post: Blindly Turning Cartoons Into Live-Action Films

Check out this blog post:
Blindly Turning Cartoons Into Live-Action Films « Dave's Ideas

I like how this guy thinks. And I love the banner.
You know, some cartoons may well be suited to live-action adaptation. Maybe ones that are just about ordinary folks doing ordinary things, where the interest lies in the dialogue and plots. But cartoons that take full advantage of the art form--like, say, Samurai Jack--should not be tampered with!
I know Hollywood only buys properties so they can reshape them into a whole new "marketable" "product." You know what, though? I'm tired of movies that are "products." I want movies that are good stories with engaging characters. (Go, Pixar!)
Also, I want a good SJ movie.

More Samurai Jack Personas for Firefox

A while back I posted a link to a Samurai Jack themed Firefox persona, which is a sort of browser skin. Today it occurred to me to search for personas (personae?) labeled "samurai." That search netted me three more SJ personas:

One of Aku and Jack with the graveyard backdrop from ep XXX, "Jack and the Graveyard":
Personas for Firefox | samurai0002

One with just Aku:
Personas for Firefox | samurai0004

And the one I'm going to use, with just Jack:

Fake but awesome Samurai Jack movie trailer

Watch this, and prepare to be impressed:

The video's creator, bloodrunsclear, is "an aspiring screenwriter/editor who dreams of one day putting the same kind of attention to detail and consideration into fantasy and science fiction films as award winners put into their dramas. I make fake trailers to satisfy somewhat my desire to see these films made, and made well."
Bloodrunsclear used footage from many different films for this trailer, which are listed in the video's description at YouTube. He or she's obviously a fan of the show. He or she even uses the sword-slash-flash from the series! (For example, starting at 1:19.)
I'm still not in favor of a live-action version of Samurai Jack. But I gotta admit this video makes the idea look a little more appealing.
