Not going to the con this year, but hope to make it next year. What sucks is that I had invited some friends (who also can't make it, but I knew this last month). Funny as the first time, I had everything else planned, but didn't have the rooming situation set. This time, the room was reserved way in advance, but the rest of the attendance issues remained vague.

With better planning, next year is *fingers crossed* doable.
