The results of last week's poll (62 people voted) are that given the choice 77.4% of us would choose to meet Amanda, and 22.6%- Sam, Helen, or another character she's played.

In a few days Sanctuary season 1 will be released for Region 1 and 4, then on October 9 season 2 starts on SyFy SyFy , and a few days after that- season 1 DVDs will be released for Region 2- so a Sanctuary related poll this week:

According to last week's poll 36.8% of us have written a letter/message to Amanda, 3.5% have written, but never sent it. 47.4% haven't written to her, and 12.3% haven't yet, but will eventually.

Yesterday was Amanda's birthday (here is the birthday picspam you created :) ), so the new poll is again Amanda related (sort of)

Stargate Universe poll

92 people voted in the poll from last week. The results are interesting.

39% is planning on watching Stargate Universe for sure (26% because they watch anything Stargate, 11% because the shows looks good and 2% for a different reason). 39% is planning on giving it at least a try with the pilot and maybe some episodes.
10% plans on watching only the eps with their favourite character(s) from SG1 or SGA.
Only 8% is not planning on watching it (3% has seen enough Stargate, 2% thinks they should've continued with SGA and 2% for another reason).

No new poll this week. ireth_e  will be back from holiday tomorrow and will take over again soon :) Picture this week from Continuum btw.

66 people voted in last weeks poll. For 28 people Requiem is their favourite ep, 12 people like the five best and also 12 people like revalations best. Nubbins was liked best by 7 people and a lot of other eps got 1 or 2 votes.

This weeks poll idea stolen from a_loquita. Stargate Universe will premiere october 2, Amanda has a (very) small cameo as Sam. You can watch the SGU trailer here. I´m wondering if people here are interested in this new Stargate show?
 
(and I know the pic has nothing to do with either this weeks or last weeks poll, but thought it was a cute pic ... lol ... all those new pics on the MGM site are great!)

Sanctuary poll

Results of last weeks poll show that 65,8% is still as interested in SG-1 as before it ended, 13,2% is still as interested in Sam, not so much in the show, 3,9% isn't so interested anymore and 9,2% hasn't seen all of SG-1 yet (lucky people). 7,9% answered "other" and in the comments it was explained that although they are not so hugely into the show anymore, they still really really love it.

Since ireth_e  is out of town she asked me to make todays entry. So ... a Sanctuary poll and it's a simple one: what is your favourite Sanctuary episode? This is my first poll, I hope I'm doing it right. I'm not sure how many answers will be possible, if multiple ... try to pick only 1 or 2! And feel free to explain in the comments why you like this episode so much.

The results of the last week's poll show that the rules and regulations are what kept Sam and Jack apart in the first 8 seasons of SG-1, according to 78.9%; 68.9% think it was their sense of duty, 23.3%- their friendship. "He/she wasn't ready for this kind of a relationship" was the answer of 21.1%, 7.8% thought feelings they had for other people kept them apart, and another 7.8% -things that happened to him/her in the past. 4.4% voted "other".

According to the results of last week's poll, 83.5% of us were fans of Amanda and got curious about Sanctuary because of her, 12.4% haven't seen Sanctuary, and 4.1% liked Sanctuary and at first were interested in Amanda because of the show :)

The new poll is a Sam/Jack poll. Long time ago, we had a poll if the rules and regulations were the only thing standing between Sam and Jack in the first 8 seasons of SG-1, and a little over half of us voted "No". So what was it? What kept them apart? I tried to think of a few reasons to give as options for an answer, but you can also answer "other" and explain in comment. Oh, and you don't have to pick just one answer.
