Writer's Block: Work Clothes
Remember the bodysuit? Fashion designer Donna Karan, who changed the way career women dressed in the 1980s, turns 60 today. Office dress codes have relaxed since then, but every workplace has its own rules. What passes for appropriate where you work? Is there anything you can't wear to work?
If you stay at the office, you can come in whatever clothes you like. Jeans and T-Shirt, Suit, what ever suits you best ;-)
If you go to a client though, you should start out wearing a Suit or something similar.
If it turns out, the dress code at your client is very releaxed, you can releax too.
Meaning: You don't have to wear a suit, if you client doesn't want you to. But don't get to releaxed!
We would never ever go to a client in cut-jeans and a worn T-Shirt, even if everyone else at the clients location does!
