Invader

Long time no see

Hey peeps!

It came to me that this community looked a bit dead for a while, so I decided to shake the things up a bit. Enjoy this wonderful piece:

The band is called Port-Royal and I missed their live show in Moscow last week :P It feels sucky, indeed.

COMMUNICATE! :D

Margareta Pislaru (Margareta Paslaru)

http://rapidshare.com/files/160932…

A relatively obscure Romanian pop/folk musician. She has created a number of rare and interesting albums and worked in the film industry as an actor and as a score writer. She has a most wonderful voice and it can barely be expressed in a few words. Her style and panache needs to be heard and enjoyed.

Hi, I've never posted here before (I don't know if you like "introductory posts" but feel free to check out my LJ profile.)

Lately, I've been turning to sad music for comfort. I've been going through some tough times that you probably don't need to hear me whine about) and just thought I'd share some of the tracks that move me to tears, sometimes. Especially the first one. All music is personal taste, but I hope you enjoy them, anyway:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2y… (Into The West). This track makesme howl like a baby, when I need a good a cry. I'm not good at crying and tend to take emotions out in other unhealthy ways. - A good cry is better all round.

These, I just find very sad and love the beautiful melodies, too. I like the visuals used in these videos, but probably only because I'm a huge fan of the films, as well.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4g… (The Last Unicorn)

Thanks if you listened and I'm always glad of new friends if you have similar interests.

I was posting this for others and figured that I'd stick it here in the other forum, too. Just in the off chance that people here enjoy some ambient music, also.

Andrew Chalk - Harvest

This album is essentially two tracks. It's the front and back side of a cassette tape. It is the reworkings of another source, Organum's Kanal Sessions. It's a nice little ambient set that I've always enjoyed.

Andrew Chalk has been working in the music industry since the mid-80s and has recorded with many respected members of the electronica and ambient world. He collaborated with DJ Darren Tate to form the group ORA (not the psychedelic band from the 60s). ORA has worked with many other individuals such as Jonathan Coleclough, Lol Coxhill, Colin Potter and Daisuke Suzuki. This group has put out numerous albums that can be found with relative ease. After working with this group for a bit, Chalk ventured on his own to do some more work as a solo artist.

This is just one of the albums that he's done while working solo.

This community lives!

It's pretty dead here so I decided to make it live. Well, I'm new here and I'd like to share the one song with you. It's very sad and it's because of my friend who died years ago on an explosion of shopping center. He was synchronized skater and VERY GOOD on it. He was living his dreams until the day he was killed by the explosion of shopping center. Their theme in the team was Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. And on memory- ceremony on the ice... this song was playing in the hall:

Moonlight Lover by Coco Lee; Chinese version. First time I heard it I was 12 and now I'm 16. And I still love this song. The English version is named "A Love before time" but the lyrics aren't same at all. // Here you can read all the lyrics!//
