Chapter 455: Unforgettable

The way Ameri switched up her attitude when she realized how serious Clara was being when she asked if Ameri loves Iruma. When Ameri was trying to listen to what “fate” had to tell her and refuses.
When Ameri understands that Clara is coming from the same perspective as her. When they are both on the same page about defying fate and decide to team up to save their beloved TAT Wonderful wonderful wonderful no notes its great I can’t wait to see what they plan <3<3<3
Side note on the ending of this chapter, it makes a lot of sense that they’re imprisoning Iruma in the terrarium garden. It’s the only “human habitat” they have in the netherworld, plus, they can have Iruma under surveillance at all times.
Chapter 58: Jibastrology
Thus chapter was so fun! I’m happy to see the personalities of the jibas from room 102. Chai seems to be easily influenced, the moment he heard he’s a good leader, he picks up fortune telling to give advice to those around him. I’m glad he settled on telling people their lucky colors and items instead of something more complicated. Snow and Hazel are very cute, wanting to check their compatibility with Mu. Mu is quite the lady’s pup!
The best part was Carmel actually being a master of romance though. Yoiko’s reaction was what I felt when he accurately said that Snow and Hazel are in love with Mu lol. He might look head empty, but he’s very emotionally intelligent! Once he gets better at expressing his own feelings and concerns, I’m sure he can be a wonderful Master of Romance <3
Chapter 244: Dragon Knights Track Meet
We see Hase in his jumping crone form again. The shoes he wears make me laugh because they look just like the jumping sneakers that are a little goofy but super fun. The lady dragon knight in the white coat transformed into a porcupine? badger? mole? Feels like a combination of different animals, but mostly porcupine with the way she uses her ability.
Just like before, they dont believe Okarun when he admits defeat. I mean, he has nothing to lose from himself. It is frustrating that they wouldn’t believe him >:( You would think there’s some precaution to avoid a situation like this so they don’t need to drag a fight out for too long.
Okarun saying “I’ll kill him!” was a shock to me! We already know he would to anything for Momo, and Hase isn’t a good guy, who knows what he might have put Okarun through before he met Momo. But I think saying he will kill him is going really far. Maybe because Okarun would feel responsible if anything happened to Momo, since he’s the one they’re targeting and Momo just ended up as collateral damage.
Complain all you want about Dandadan and the deus ex machina, or how it feels like things don’t have consequences, situations like this is something I appreciate about Dandadan, personally. I like it where characters show up when you’re wondering where they are. I was just thinking about Vamola and Kinta last chapter, and here they are to save the day. With Rokuro, Mr. Mantis Shrimp, and Chiquititia no less! Hase is just getting beat up by the nerds he targeted and it’s what he deserves, I fear.
Vamola and Kinta certainly took advantage of their time in the barber shop, they look fresh (?) with the princess curls lmao. Rokuro still taking his part-time job seriously. Chiquitita calling Momo big sis??? That’s the cutest thing ever I love you Chiquitita!!! <3<3<3
Chapter 243: You, The Big Track Meet’s On
Evil Eye being swatted like a fly by the kaiju is pretty funny. Okarun is right, the last time they faced a kaiju, Kinta’s use of the nanoskin was very integral. If Kinta does break out the nanoskin to make a mech, we are seeing a repeat of events from previous arcs, which is what my prediction of the dandadan is, the cycle of life and rebirth!
This dragon knight leader was introduced in chapter 233, and Yatagarasu said to leave it to him so Aira and Okarun can go to the barber shop. I could not tell she was a woman so I was confused as to who this was until I remembered her scissors. I wonder what this yokai who has taken over her is? Maybe kamikiri since it’s one of the yokai that Saint-Germain has use of with his kozuka knives.
I actually went to the wiki, and she’s actually Gilles de Rais??? Red Baron’s love interest? I did not catch that at all but I understand things so much more now.
And here come the rest of the Dragon Knights, and we see Hase amongst their ranks. He’s really doing this, eh? Every time I see him makes me want to smh.
At least we got to end things on a sweet momokarun moment <3 He can fight if he’s got her, literally, figuratively, emotionally, in all aspects. I’m just hoping Kinta and Vamola are alright, chilling in the barber shop none the wiser.
Chapter 50: Where Your Mom Met Her Dragon
Awww, Kuro is a sweetheart. From En’s explanation, this spurt was inevitable, just bad timing that it happened when Ruri came to visit. Kuro is such a gentle soul that they couldn’t even let out a full spurt because he’s fundamentally opposed to the idea.
I like that Kuro did a complete 180 and we can see their helpful personality. Cleaning up debris and even helping Ruri find her backpack. I’m looking forward to the dragon bath, that sounds fun. And the way Kuro apologized for their stinky breath because they’re carnivorous is super cute <3<3<3
I also appreciate En’s dogeza. He’s really apologetic about what happened, even though he seemed so nonchalant during the incident. Hey, he made up for it with the cabin full of kitty cats!!! The rest of dragon visitation arc is gonna be so fun I can’t wait T_T
