If you think “sysmeds” are Nazis I’m going to assume you’re an upper middle class white person who has never faced a day of oppression in their lives.
Nazism is not someone telling you to stop playing pretend on tumblr.
My family was murdered, my history stolen from me, I live in a nation that two generations ago my family had no connections to because my paternal grandmother was shipped out of her home to a different continent to escape Nazi rule.
People are being kidnapped from their homes, jobs, schools. People are being murdered by the state. There’s mass graves outside of “detention centres”. People close to me have had their family members forcibly disappeared.
Babies are being bombed, families are being slaughtered in open air concentration camps. People are being starved, kidnapped, tortured on a systemic level.
The amount of privilege you must have to say that people calling out your ableism are Nazis while this is what’s happening around you? What the fuck is wrong with you, genuinely, how do you place being told to fuck off on tumblr at that same level? You’re a terrible person if you believe this, an actual fucking monster. Theres a reason why the globe calls you the great Satan, you have no perspective outside of your own.

trauma causes the brain to dissociate. the brain cannot handle all of the trauma that's occuring, it has to have a split consciousness. In childhood, the brain doesn't have one distinct identity state, it has a forming and fragmented one, and that will integrate later in life (around ages 6-9). One who has a disorder like DID does not integrate. The identity and consciousness continues to develop separately, as the brain deems it necessary to have dissociative amnesia to continue surviving.
Knowing all of this, we know that systemhood is a dissociative disorder. And knowing why people dissociate (trauma), that means dissociative disorders (such as DID, P- DID, and OSDD) can only be formed as a trauma response.
This means that systems can only be formed through repeated childhood trauma. Endos claiming to have formed without meeting the requirements is illogical, can be misleading to those who don't know much about dissociative disorders, and overall harmful.
Additionally, the claim that they have anything close to a disorder caused by repetitive trauma is disrespectful to those of us with DID, OSDD, or P-DID.
