A year away

whats the hardest part of being an exchange student for people in this group. other then the language?

My name is Tace, I am a Rotary Youth Exchange student from Iowa USA, currently living in Bielefeld Germany. Found this community, thought it might be fun to talk to rebounds who went to germany or students now in germany.

Hey, my name is Valerie and I was an RYE student in Germany this past year. I just recently returned home on the 1st of July. It was the best year of my life over there. So many thanks go to Rotary. I'd love to talk with others who are/have done this program. I was staying way up in Northern Germany in a city called Neumünster.
