Chersonesus (Khersonesos) National Preserve, Sevastopol.
A small pavilion that marks the supposed spot where Prince Vladimir was baptized in the Christian fashion. Vladimir I of Kiev introduced Christianity into Kievan Rus and managed to include it into the number of civilized Christian states.
The pavilion frames the Obelisk in honour of the Hero-City of Sevastopol on Cape Khrustalny. (White stela in the background).
