Thoughts on 8.02 What's Up, Tiger Mommy?
How's it going everybody? It's been a while. Longer than a while, actually. I got pissed off with LiveJournal just as I discovered Tumblr and I kind of migrated there. But that's stuff that doesn't really matter, so moving on to Ruby + Crowley stuff.
As you may know, this blog operates under the assumption that Ruby 1.0 was a different demon from Ruby 2.0 and that Ruby 1.0 and Crowley were totally BFFs. In 8.02 What's Up, Tiger Mommy?, Crowley had a quote that a lot of fuss is being made about over on Tumblr. He said, "I know we're not mates, Kevin, but one word of advice. Run. Run far, and run fast. Because the Winchesters? They have a habit of using people up and watching them die bloody." Now this quote would have been passed off as regular old demonic manipulation, if not for the emotion with which Crowley said it. Everybody's been trying to guess who Crowley was upset over. Theories range from Bobby to Cass, but of course my heart says Ruby.
It's been my head!canon for the past few years that Crowley hates the Winchesters mainly because they inspired his best friend to do stupid heroic shit that ended up getting her sent 'far, far away.' This moment made me squee a bit.
