So Much Can Happen In Over a Year...

Well It's December 22 2007. I haven't written on this in over a year...wow!

So much in my life has happened since then lets see if I can sum things up for my own reflection wow...

let's see parents divorce was finalized, we sold the house i grew up in for 17 years, moved to lititz into the house my grandparents left to my mom, graduated Penn Manor High School marched with my thespian sash, I'm 18 Years Old now yay I can buy porn...which I have (long story) was excepted to every college I applied, won a scholarship to help pay, got good finacial aid, and ended up going to West Chester University....

So Yes I AM NOW A COLLEGE FIRST YEAR and A THEATRE MAJOR and loving every minute away from home, trying to find myself...not quite there yet...learning who are true friends. following my heart...to extent.

Had to sell my soul to get the mother in order to let her let me switch my major to anything to do with theatre. I would rather it be musical performance, but theatre is theatre and I love it all.

Ive made what I hope and believe are some really good friends and really good people. Love the theatre dept. Professors, the people, the atomosphere. Didn't do too bad for my first semester 3.418 GPA exp with the stupid classes I was stuck with thats pretty damn good i think! I think I've really started to grow as a person...atleast thats what I'd like to think

Can't wait for next semester and to head on back to the dub-c-u. I miss it. It's good to be home I guess, to have a nice break from school work, dorm life...but all in all if I had to choose I'd be there right now.

So I wish everyone a Happy Holiday and I shake you warmly by the hand 2007 was a tough year, but I've almost made it through it. Cheers looking at 2008

"Guys wait I lost my shoe Back there!" "Ya thats the thing about New York gotta watch your shoes"

New York was flipping amazing!!! I nearly cried today during work thinking about it all...I wish we had more time, I want to live there so bad. I didn't want to get on the bus to go home, when we got back to the school we didn't want to get off.

So highlights:
-For some odd reason I was talking about people I thought were lesbians...it was an ongoing theme for the day

-Ride up was fun, filled with excitment and sleep deprevation, adn the relization how many sex drugs they sell at truck stops.

-While in NYC we started calling Donovans dad the walking nazi, cause damn he was flying down those streets, making us walk all the way to the Jekyll and Hyde club.

-Jekyll and Hyde club was amazing, we got the signatures of like everyone who worked there on our napkins and stuff I started it all by getting our waitress to sign my napkin, we made them feel special lol and we cept interacting with all the talking wall pieces and actors it was so much fun, lol and we cept sortof scarring ourselfs

-We stopped by the Wicked stage door, where we got to meet Jenna Leigh Green, she was so flippin nice and loved that we new her and new her broadway work. I got a picture and her to sign my grimmerie and I got a hug! lol it was fun.

-Producers was AMAZING, lol so funny and Roger Bart was flippin amazing, I clapped my hands so hard after every number one time I screamed OW! cause I caused pain in my hands.

-After the show I had to chase after Roger Bart with his bike to get an autograph pic and hug Then I left my playbill with Christina cause donovan wanted to go, and she got Gary Beach and the dude that played Carmen to sign em. I <3 her!!!

-Stardust was fun as usual, got waiter to sign my napkin

~Ride home was fun, filled with sleep deprevation laughs, and some very interesting pictures

-Shopping Wise:
~Two Broadway framed logo things - Wicked and Hairspray that I got off a street vendor
~Glass from Jekyll and Hyde Club
~Belting Auditon book, monologue book, musical note socks
 ~Producers Shirt - I wanna Be a Producer
 ~Avenue Q long sleeve
~I <3 NYC PJ Short bottoms
 ~2 condoms on a stick
~Some amazign sunglasses, that I can't seem to find, I gotta locate those

Ah everything was so amazing! I loved every moment of it! I didn't get to sleep til 1 am this mornign and woke up a 5:36 so I had to run out of the house to at work by Six...so Im so tired, but can't sleep cause I gotta pic my sis up from work tonight

Stupid Mintzer told me and Maggie to listen to the announcements when we went to see her before 4th block today so I just stood there listening for the like 5 min after the bell that announcements ran and as soon as I heard my name I jump up and clapped my hands, and waited with maggie to hear the rest!! I nearly threw up in anticipation.

Blust rehearsal was well - we've changed our stage in which we're going to perform it so blocking changed a bit - and he was starting to get a little ticked i think. Lol and I asked everyone what kind of gummy bear they would be and why....b/c Im a curious little devil lol they think im very interesting...ya interesting...hehe.

"But he was too busy showing us his widdeling"

So this morning was Breakfast with the Stars it was fun as usual. WE GOT THE FIDDLER ON THE ROOF DVD's I watched some parts of it the picture is sooo clear I really like the job they did with the intermission and credit thingers. Ya Chuck ate 33 1/2 sausages, and Aaron ate 37 winning the unofficial eating contest. It was fun being around all the theater folk again. I got part of my 4th Itsy Bitsy

Then tonight a bunch of us went to Donegal High School to see their production of Fiddler on the Roof....(Me Ben Leah Gilli Aaron David Liz Heather Ashley Henry and Hoover Keclie Sophie Mark Dillion and I might be missing a few people but i think thats about it)

Let me just say - It was scary there were so many people who looked or sounded like people from our school. They had a friggin 18,000 dollar budget for their musical!!! They had a professional pit that let me jsut say rocked! I wish we had had the percussion that they had, that really made it. Proffessional technical staff. Their sound system is really cool they had the head mics which are ozome - lol they forgot to turn them off a few times so one time all of sudden it blasted through the speakers "I HAD THAT LUNCH TOO!" it amused me. Their dream scene was really really cool but ours still was better, we were covered in dry ice. lol and I noticed that the cast kept looking at us like what are you doing in the first row no ones suppose to be sitting there this is not the way we rehearsed it, b/c really the front two row werent suppose to be sold but there werent enough seats available and they new we were from Penn Manor and they wanted us to be able to see it. There set was really abstract and a bit too bright for Anatevka I think and had really cool scene changes, and they had SNOW! that was really cool. and their BACKSTAGE CREW GOT TO COME OUT FOR BOWS!!!!! Oh and they had crew shirts and show shirts!!! Im fighting for that shiz next year!

OH THEY WERE SUCH BOTTLE DANCE CHEATERS!!!!! THEY WERE HALFWAY FILLED WITH SAND!!!!!! ah! atleast Mark Ian Devon Donovan (and Jimmy) were doing it for real! Thats what made it so much more exciting for us!

But the best of all moments was during Intermission when in all seriousness.....Ashley and Heather just got that the dream scene was something that Teyve totally made up....Just then they finally got it! HAHA! That made my day Im going to remember that moment forever!

Tonight was a really fun day being spent with Theater Buds doing the theater thing, and Monday children's musical starts so HORRAH!!!!

Speaking of which for CM...

We're doing.... THE WIZARD OF OZ!!

And I'm........The Cowardly Lion

Apology to a Cow: Bat Boy Original Off Broadway Cast

Wonder of Wonders Miracles of Miracles

ALL
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes,
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Moments so dear.
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
How do you measure, measure a year?

In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights
In cups of coffee
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife.

In five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
How do you measure
A year in the life?

How about love?
How about love?
How about love? Measure in love

Seasons of love. Seasons of love

JOANNE
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes!
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Journeys to plan.

Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
How do you measure the life
Of a woman or a man?

COLLINS
In truths that she learned,
Or in times that he cried.
In bridges he burned,
Or the way that she died.

ALL
It's time now to sing out,
Tho' the story never ends
Let's celebrate
Remember a year in the life of friends
Remember the love!

JOANNE
Oh you got to got to Remember the love! remember the love,
You Measure in love know that love is a gift from up above Seasons of love.
Share love, give love spread love Measure measure you life in love.

How can I sum up the past three days...I mean I just don't think I can.

This musical has been amazing, the people, the moments, the standing ovations every freaking night. Having 2 count em 2 FULL HOUSES!!! This is the closest we've come to selling out in like 10 or so years! People were coming up to Kendig and telling them that this is the best show they've seen at Penn Manor.

Senior circle = heart breaking. I don't want any of them to leave!!

Dan flipping off of the bed during the dream sequence = now that we're all over having heart attacks hilarious

Chris and the cheese = we will love him forever for that

Torchia and that damn milk cart = will be infamous

Columbia Dinner = spilled water, and smiley faced chips

Guys we did it! Last night was our final show and the most amazing show! The only one were they all made it with the bottles during the bottle dance,. HOMG! That was just such an amazing moment for ever single person that made our last show! I started loosing it backstage during do you love me. I think everyone was bawling by the end of the show.

Cast and Crew party was fun as always, I taught people how to play the pony game we got a whole big group to jump in and play. Ah! It was amazingly fun.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!!! Remember how AJ said in three/four years we wont remember any of this, I'll ALWAYS! ALWAYS remember all of you and our theater moments! We can't let the memories die!

Oh and btw I got the part of Florinda in Into the Woods
