Date: 2016-08-30 19:47 (UTC)Groundsel's defence of Woundwort and Vilthuril's retelling of the warren of snares: both are saying something about the creation of legends. Is Hazel really not recognising the story? And does that mean all the El-Ahrairah stories have a basis in something that really happened, once? (well, as real as this story anyway)

But yes, going from there to "and they lived happily ever after running the warren while shacked up happily with Hyzenthlay" seems perfectly reasonable and I am currently resisting the urge to check AO3 to see if it has already been done.
