I don't use Photoshop or PSP. I work with Corel Photo-Paint. But you should be able to do this with PS or PSP. All brushes I used in this icon are made by
inxsomniax, all gradients are made by myself.We'll make this icon:

And I've got something else for you. The gradients I use to make my icons are always made by myself.
I've made a zip.file with all gradients (jpg.files) I've made for my last icon batch.
