Dedicated To The Riddick Verse

Some of you have been wondering about these Riddick/Eve scenes that have me so inspired. Well, it turns out that these are scenes only found on the special Director's Cut edition DVD, which has over 5 minutes of extra footage (plus some extra goodies). Well, some of that extra footage includes Riddick's yummy encounter with merc Eve Logan......

The TCOR Unrated Directors Cut DVD contains 5 extra minutes of footage and lots more specials. Thanks to TCOR.com for the info. How many of you knew that Riddick's um... "intimate encounter" with the female merc "Eve Logan" was edited out?

I strongly suggest that everyone check out this edition of the DVD. It's amazing in so many ways and I remember when seeing it for the first time (however many months after it played in the theaters) that I found it so much better than the theatrical version. I'm very big on the special editions in general, so this was a definite treat when they released it at the same time as the usual wide and full screen formats.

Anyway, hopefully this answers your questions somewhat. If you have any more, please ask away... I encourage it! Eve Logan is a character who deserves recognition.... spread the love!

Yes, we all knew it was coming.... Vin himself had said so..... well, a new Riddick video game is to be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360. It's title? The Chronicles Of Riddick: The Assault On Dark Athena. Supposedly it's going to partially be a remake of the 1st Riddick video game The Chronicles Of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay (made solely for the original Xbox). The claim for this has to do with Microsoft'ss gripe that the 1st Riddick video game isn't backward compatible with the new Xbox 360. So, they wanted to sort of redo it so that people who buy the new system have the chance to play the original as well as a few extras.

I'm also glad to see that the Riddick gaming franchise is branching out... especially to SONY because I'm a HUGE playstation fan. And though I don't have a PS3 yet, I do plan on getting one eventually! So, it'll be cool to be able to get and play a Riddick video game! YAY!

Also, impressions are that more Riddick video games are to come... so that's awesome news indeed!

Hey everyone!

My little hiatus from this beloved community of mine is slowly coming to an end. And I apologize to everyone for sort of leaving everyone hanging.... especially if you've been following my fanfic.

Life has been super crazy for the past 6 months to a year. I planned a wedding, got married, went on a honeymoon, had to move from apartment to apartment, my temp job ended and I had to find a new job, my hubby and I are now pregnant and planning for that, hubby got a job that's causing us to uproot from California and travel cross-country, my sister is getting married in October and I'm her Matron of Honor so I've been helping her with that and planning her bridal shower (which is this weekend) AND of course I've been doing quite a bit of traveling (all family-related). So yes. Life has been completely INSANE... but all with good stuff! :-)

Anyway, our packing up for our cross-country move is nearing its end and I've been dying to get back into my Riddick fanfic. Those of you following along and hopefully enjoying it will be glad to hear that... or at least I hope you are! EEEP! I've written, in full (though I'll probably self revise a few more times before sending it all off to a beta-reader.... I can only hope that my beloved eustacia_vye28 will continue to want to beta for me as it's been forever) chapters 7 - 9 and I'm about half way through chapter 10. I'm sort of on a roll. I even wrote out the conclusion, which I will say opens itself up for a sequel. So anyway, you can guess what I've been doing in my spare time... ie breaks from packing, making phone calls to movers, etc.... yep, WRITING!

That all said, I hope everyone is well.... and of course keeping the love for Riddick alive!

Hey there, just so that people are in the know...

YES! Of course I'm still working on my Riddick fic entitled 'The Chronicles Of Riddick: Voyage To Underverse'. I have actually written and submitted chapter 6 to my lovely beta reader, eustacia_vye28. However, the poor thing right now is going through quite a hellishly hectic time with her work schedule and is thus VERY busy. But have heart... I'm still writing!

I've also written about half of chapter 7, drafted up the ending and I'm currently outlining and writing key events that MUST occur in the story as I've laid it out. So, like I said, have heart and rest assured that more indeed will be coming. :-)
