Revel_Terminus: A Death Eater Community

There is another set of Death Eaters organizing activities.  Is anyone of you involved with this on the list?

I have no idea what this is about, but here you go.

However, I am no newbie Death Eater. XD

Want to show the dark lord your support but can't make a full time commitment? Under pressure from your pureblood family? Not interested in early death but dying to know our secret handshake? Then join Delta Epsilon Tau! We are a co-ed fraternity, who believe the path to world domination should be fun and hassle-free. We'll accept witches and wizards from any house who claim to be of pure blood (except Weasleys). We'll meet before the Chamber of Secrets showing and give each pledge a set of tasks to earn their initiation before the Bon Voyage Ball (location to be disclosed at that time). DET is also seeking those with proven experience in dark arts as honorary members to help guide our neophytes!

 

I am happy to report that I have FINISHED my Lucius Malfoy 5th Movie Battle Outfit! I however will require help with it. I need someone who is willing to help put me into the outfit on Thursday night and againt on Sunday night. (Openning Feast and Ball). I figure I'll most likely rope one of my roommates into helping me but figured it couldn't hurt here to ask.

More importantly I'm also looking for help while in costume. The leather outfit does restrict one's movements somewhat. I can move around in it fine, BUT just not as quickly as I would like (it's like wearing a thick leather jacket), it really is like armor. I'm also going to have items to deal with, 1. Snake cane, 2. Death eater Mask, 3. Prophecy. And juggling all three is a challenge. I don't want to drop/break the Prophecy (dropping/breaking the prophecy is a very 'Lucius' thing to do, but if I'm going to do that I atleast want it on film). So if there is a person on the list who will be doing a more generic DE and wouldn't mind helping me out, let me know.

Death Eaters are to report to the welcoming feast about 1/2 hour before the doors open.  Hopefully teh Dark Lord shall arrive.

It is best if we chuck house loyalty and sit together as Death Eaters.   

With Terminus fast approaching, I am scrambling to get my costumes ready for the big week! As I don't have limitless funds with which to provide for myself a movie-accurate wardrobe, I'm making do with what I can find at thrift shops and what my sewing machine can dole out. As I've yet to acquire a Slytherin school tie, I am also trying my options out on that end. A dear friend (and Gryffindor) mailed me a striped tie that she thought might suffice, so I thought I would throw on what I have so far and see what it looked like. Too juvenile? Too... Muggle? Just wrong? Well, I thought I would let you lot help me decide!

I dont remember anything  due to Portus and work and insanity, but I will get in gear.

We need a death eater presense and the Dark Lord at the welcoming feast.   I dont have the scheudle but it is best to show up 30 minutes early and collect as  a group.   We did this at Portus and it rocked.   Screw house tables, we are Death Eaters!


I do think we have a Bellatrix.  =)

I'm looking for someone who will be playing Bellatrix, has the wig all ready to go.

Hello awesome Evil people attending Terminus!

I have wonderful news for all of you.  Amy Tenbrink,  the Terminus coordinator, has called for the Voldemort Can Stop the Wrock Crashers to 'entertain' the crowd in between Wrock sets at Wrock Chicago.  This means we HAVE permission to perform our crazy antics of muggle hunting and Harry killing while Wrockers set up for their next performance.

They will need us to distract the crowd between the headliners sets, from 7 pm to 1 am on Wednesday, the day before the convention begins.  I would like to try and start getting organized now and throwing ideas of what to do.  In the past we have recreated Harry and Voldemort's fight scene from GoF and DH.  We can perfect these or do other ones, or just make something else up all together.  As long as it's Evil and fun I'm open to all sorts of ideas.

So let the chatting begin.  Also, who is attending Wrock Chicago and who will be dressed up as someone Evil?  We will take all the Evil we can get!

My costumes are coming along swimmingly in my mind. Now I just need to sit down and start sewing!

Right, anyone looking for the $169/night cheap rooms: they're all sold out. So, I have booked a double room (with *two* bathrooms!) for $194/night+tax. The room is for the 6th to the 10th (we leave on the 11th). check in time is 3pm on the 6th, but if you're early they can try to squeeze us in.
