Love Superdawg. My mom took me here over 60 yrs ago, then I took my family. They are all grown now and we all still make the 1hr plus trek for our favorite hot dogs. Love that they kept the car hops still. We always order from our parking spot and eat in the car. I’m really grateful for the Wheeling location. My Grandparents lived near the original spot, and as a teenager and college student, we would commute from McHenry or DeKalb all the way to Chicago just for their food. I still live up north, so having Wheeling nearby is perfect. The food is consistently excellent. The Supercheesie is, in my opinion, the quintessential fast-casual burger in Chicago. The fried veggies are seriously underrated and deserve to be part of every meal. A vanilla malt is perfect for the drive home.
