My mom and I originally wanted to go to Relais de l’Entrecôte but the line was crazy and we estimated the wait to be at least an hour long. With disappointment, we decided to go somewhere else and remembered passing by a restaurant that also caught our attention, which was La Maison de l'Aubrac. When we walked in, the host had greeted us and as soon as he heard that we had no reservation, he shook his head and immediately I thought to myself “oh no we have no luck with restaurants today”. However, the host then told us that we could be seated at the bar if we didn’t mind. Ryan, our server/bartender was super attentive to our needs and sincere. He made sure to let us know that there were menus in other languages available if we needed them. The food was great, my mom loved the steak au poivre; she said it was the perfect amount of spice and tenderness. Everything was delicious, but if I had to say, the highlight of our dinner was definitely the café ou thé gourmand; the brioche, chocolate mousse, and creme brûlée were not overly sweet, and the espresso was heavenly. Lastly, we wanted to thank Ryan again for providing us with such amazing service, which made our entire dinner experience that much better. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
