This was our second time visiting Nîmes and our first time dining at GAMEL Restaurant, which was a 4 minute walk away from the Air BnB we were staying in. The service from the friendly and helpful staff was exceptional, and the food served was to the highest standard! My wife had two courses and I had three. Everything on the plate served a purpose and complimented the whole dish. You could tell that the chef gave a lot of thought to using seasonal ingredients. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and took the time to describe each dish and the recommended wine to pair. We both finished with a digestif. The Japanese whiskey was sublime. I would highly recommend dining here and we intend on returning during our next visit to the beautiful city of Nîmes. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €90–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
