"isekai'd into my favourite book series" story from the perspective of a very confused author who's rereading their draft and finding there's an entire new character they don't remember writing.
i had zero reason to make this edit but i did
edit: realized the image is barely visible in light mode so here's a version with a solid black bg
so my middle school library had a collected trade paperback of Spider-Girl (1998) about Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson's superpowered, messy-short-haired daughter May "Mayday" Parker inheriting the mantle, and the comic's stylistic choice to be narrated entirely in the second person ("You are Mayday Parker, secretly Spider-Girl, and you're just a normal girl attending school when...") did really normal things to my psychology
Reading old Spider-Man comics. In this 2008 issue of Ultimate Spider-Man, Johnny Storm meets a genderbent clone of his close friend Peter Parker, who tries desperately to avoid getting involved with him, and he immediately falls in love with her. fucking hilarious. I genuinely can't wait to see the fallout of this. I hope it's super fucking awkward
Jessica having the common transfem experience of realizing a former guy friend is into her, and Peter having to grapple with the fact his friend would be into him if he was a girl. I love this shit
Mm, yes no- no thoughts on this.
There are no feelings being had.
Absolutely no feelings or thoughts are gracing me-
the funniest possible Live Action Remake that Disney could make, and I would actually watch, is Cars
no eyes on the windshields, no faces, just footage of real cars
I’m not in the community that posted this but if you’ve never tasted the bitter agony of searching for a pairing you’ve only just considered to find it’s like one dedicated author who has churned out like 69 slightly better than mediocre fics you don’t know what a rare pair is.
you'll feel like a total dipshit train wreck and no matter what some girl is gonna see you and think "role model". you can't kill yourself you have to go be clocky in the gas station so a 14 year old can have the trajectory of her life altered forever
as annoying as it is to work fast food, at my previous job one time a kid recognized the theta delta pin on my hat and was so fucking excited because i was the first other therian they had ever encountered offline.
"hey....are you a therian?" "yeah!" "what kind of animal?" "eh, some kinda dog" "😲😀 im like a wolf coyote hybrid" "that's fuckin awesome"
to be weird is to cast lifelines all around you

what really drives me nuts is that like. this happens an average of x times per year as a visibly weird person, but we only get made aware of it a small fraction of the time. you can't kill yourself you have to be clocky in the gas station.
quarterly reminder to the white folk that just because you know racism is bad doesn’t mean you’ve stopped internalizing racist standards or ideals
take some time to consider the racial biases society has conditioned you to subconsciously subscribe to and have a good day 👍
