☆ The Old Kingdom ☆ is my Home Away From Home★

I don't know if any of the people who I used to follow are still on here. If you are, hello! If not, that is okay too. Most people that I know of have moved on to other sites -- namely Tumblr -- for their blogging needs, myself being one of them.

I have kept this dusty corner of the internet alive mostly because I cannot convince myself to let it go. There are too many informative-to-myself-years that I have spent on here. Plus I do enjoy going back and reading entries of memories I wrote down. Maybe this will be a palce I will come back to do such a thing again.

What I do know for sure is that if any of my old followers who have moved on come across this journal entry, and if you wish to reconnect and/or follow my much more current places on the internet here is a list of them:

I said I would make more and here they are! I tried some new "techniques" with photoshop, so these are my first experiments with some new things. I actually really like how almost all of them turned out! Also note that there are a variety from different fandoms. Yes, yes, I said I would try to get into iconing not just The Old Kingdom series. Though my next batch might have some from there XP.
~ The Duma Key ones are my way of re-doing the ones I made back before I had photoshop.
~ And it's only 13 days till the release of Breaking Dawn! *SQUEE*

I made a couple of icons. Really, a small batch. The VK ones are from about a month ago. The other ones, House of Night, were made just today. I should be making more though. The creative feeling hasn't gone away. I'm just getting tired. So onto the icons!

Ok people! I have some icons for you! Old Kingdom Series! My favorite kind of icons if you can't tell by now. (I just made a whole whack of them in the past year because the series was seriously lacking in icons. Whether they're good or not is debatable...)

Sabriel icons to be specific! To go with my last post. Various book cover ones. I be working on some art work ones soon but that's after I finish watching some of the anime shows that I've started but haven't bothered to finish, when I can say I've gotten a good chunk of that story I said I would post here done and... yeah, you get the picture.

Here is another (old) batch of icons. Ones I made long ago, but keep forgetting to post. Old Kingdom ones, of course. See, I found there weren't enough in this wonderful universe known as lj, so I took it upon myself to make one's to fill the void. Not much but... ^.^

I think I should say this though, I do not have photoshop. So I can not do all those loverly things to make them extremely pretty. But I do the best I can with what I have.

There have been rumors flying around, about J.J. Abrams doing a movie adaptation of Stephen King's The Dark Tower series. In an interview, Abrams said that he and Damon Lindelof are in the very early stages of an adaptation. There is a video, if you wish to see it, but he's mainly talking about Cloverfield.
