Hiya! We're the Relay System :)
We're only a couple of years into our syscovery so it's still pretty fresh to us but definitely more comfy now. This blog is mainly run by T, A and P, but you might see posts from others if they decide to get involved. Between us we have pretty broad interests so this blog might be slightly everywhere. We love animated media, most types of music and story games. We also embroider, play piano and are currently learning sign language.
We only got onto social media around 2019 and it was mainly Tumblr for a long time so forgive us if we aren't formatting things right (ㅅ´ ˘ `)
Joep Beving piano music
Jul. 6th, 2026 12:20 amOccasionally I'll remember how much I like Joel Beving's music. His stuff has this really melancholy, nostalgic vibe with a bit of playfulness. It's really beautiful. Ive managed to find some free transcripts of his music and they're a real joy to play. His albums get a lot of views on YouTube and apparently solipsism achieved gold but I've never heard anyone in the wild mention him. It feels really similar to the Amelie OST to me. I found out he's carried on making music since then so here's Ida, a more recent piece. Might cross post it to a music group tomorrow if I'm still fronting.-H
Big whiteboard
Jul. 5th, 2026 01:02 amA couple weeks ago we got a big whiteboard. Like 1.2 by 0.9 meters big. It wasn't a small chunk of change but it looks like everyone who's fronted since we got it has contributed something. There's doodles and reminders, a bunch of different to do lists, things headmates want to bring up with our councillor and right at the top a list of things we all want. A clean space, the body being taken care of, that sort of thing. I didn't expect it to work as well as it did if I'm honest. The main difference has been that when we're blurry or someone who isn't sure of their identity is fronting, it's easier to orient themself and worry less about dropped responsibilities. I guess I didn't realise how much anxiety and guilt some headmates have about forgetting things and the effect it has on others in or out our system. Here's to hoping it keeps working as well as it is.

Happy start of disability pride month
Jul. 4th, 2026 02:26 amA few days late but still. We have very complicated feelings about our disabilities and we're sure we aren't alone in that. It's good to surround ourselves with reminders to be proud of our community and ourselves. Sending love out there to everyone with stigmatised disabilities who feel like they have to hide or downplay their symptoms to stay safe. You deserve the world <3
