Fandoms, science, and other ramblings

...only to leave again in two days or so.

I came back from my business trip late yesterday and while I did have my personal laptop with me...I didn't open it once. I only had one 'free' evening anyway and I finished a book.

I'm glad to be sleeping in my own bed again for now.

I'll leave again on Sunday to go to a different office next week. If I don't get sick, that is, I've been coughing a bit. Might be allergies, who knows. But I've been going back and fourth a lot recently.

After adventures of more internet outages, I decided (with the agreement of my landlady, because they'll need to drill in here) to get fiber installed after all. That'll probably happen sometime this fall, hopefully. Still need to actually order it and do some ISP research but it'll be fine. My mom is also getting fiber (after the initial contract was cancelled) so all is well that ends well on that end, maybe. Need to be a modem/router, though if I don't want to rent hardware.

Anyway, I'll try to catch up to everyone's posts but I'm not sure how realistic that is. ^^;
