Hi Everyone,

I've been reading the posts on here, and I thought it was about time for me to post my stats. I am spending the summer outside of the States. Since I've left (it's been about a month now), I've pu ton soo much weight it's disgusting. I am so sick of myself and all this fat. I will need all of your support in losing this weight I have gained. Thank you to everyone that posts such inspirational pictures and great tips!

Height: 5'2-5'3
CW:132lbs
HW:132lbs
STG:115lbs
LTG:100lbs

Hi everyone, I'm new

I'm Amanda, I'm 18 and I just got out of rehab (was there for nearly a year) and am trying to lose the 40-50 pounds I gained there, (partly because pasta was our only food, and sobriety tends to make you gain weight). I have ED-NOS, a combination of anorexia and bulimia and I gained an obscene amount of weight and now it's time to get back on track.

Right Now I'm:
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 155.8
Body Fat %: 36.5

Hello! I just joined this community for some inspiration I seem to be lacking. I do not have extreme weight loss goals, but I just can not seem to ever meet them! So perhaps seeing pictures of my love handles and stomach pooch glaring up at me will be some motivation - even better, though, will be me seeing them slowly disappear.

Stats:

Height: 5'8.5"
Weight: 138 lbs
Goal Weight: 130 lbs

I want to lose the weight by the end of February, and I am going to work very hard to do so. I will post my pictures once I figure out how to transfer them onto my computer from my digital camera. :/ Good luck, everyone, and remember that you are beautiful. Have faith!

Hot Rox [x-posted]

Sorry if this has already been discussed.

Has anyone tried Hot Rox?

They're a new metabolism booster. I think you get them at GNC.

If you've tried them or heard anything about them please let me know.

Thanks.

Newsletter About Breakfast [x-posted]

My breakfast usually consists of coffee, and LOTS of it.  Maybe I should reconsider.

------------------------------------------------

Long called the most important meal of the day, a new study confirms breakfast's top ranking. Researchers from Vermont's Rutland Regional Medical Center found that those who ate breakfast on a regular basis benefited in four important ways:

1. They had lower body-mass indexes.
2. Their risk of obesity and insulin resistance was reduced.
3. They maintained a better, long-term weight-loss success rate.
4. Their mental alertness increased throughout the day!

Researchers speculate that breakfast "wakes up" your metabolism, thus increasing the overall amount of energy—aka calories—you burn throughout the day. Make the most of your morning meal by including a little of everything—a protein source for long-lasting power, a complex carbohydrate for more immediate fuel, some dairy for strong bones, and fruit to add lots of vitamins. In fact, don't be afraid to make breakfast your biggest meal! After all, unlike those late-night snacks that end up turning into stored fat while you sleep, you have all day to burn off breakfast! How great is that?
