Hey guys,
Sorry this is late but I was hoping more votes would come in. After a grand total of 2 votes, and both by our authors, with no response to the posts I put up in the main Trek comms, I call this round finished.
Congrats to our three authors that made it this far!
I return your stories to you. You may leave a comment here if you'd like the feedback you received.
Of those still with us, please tell me what you liked and disliked about the challenge, whether you'd like another round or if this comm should be turned into more of a prompt community, etc. Any and all thoughts are welcome.
I'll be accepting submissions until Monday, 6:00p.m. PDT.
After that, entries will be up for voting and voting will last a week.
I've got one entry two entries right now. I know it's a horrible time for everyone, me included, and I don't really know what to do right now. We barely had any votes last week and I don't know if we'll have many more for this week.
Would you guys like extensions? Something else?
For sure, this is definitely moving to another time during the year next go around. (That is if the fandom's still interested then.)
Thoughts? Suggestions?
Drop your stories here. Send your stories to the email listed in the profile as they're too big to be left in one comment.
And this is your midweek reminder. Stories are due Friday, 6:00 PDT.
You've got 12 hours, folks.
Ugh, I'm a horrible mod right now. Once I get home from classes today, all feedback left outstanding will be returned.
Theme: Inverses
Added Element: Relics - Photography Equipment
Word Count: 1500
If everyone's not consumed by school, this will be our last challenge and our winner will be decided. Inverses, the opposite of what it is. What if Kirk wasn't a good captain? What if Spock was the better captain? Or maybe it's some other quality we know that's turned on it's head? Gaila? Uhura? Any member of the crew? An unknown member of the crew? Tell me what would happen if something wasn't the way we know it to be. And for the added element, who has an interest in old photography equipment? Uhura for the culture? Kirk for the fascination? Spock for the knowledge? It's up to you.
Have fun! Stories are due 6:00p.m. PST, October 2nd, 2009.
The post to drop stories will be up on Wednesday.
