Creature Creature artist-duo counts as one of our three artists-in-residence at our Melbourne headquarters. Have you met them yet?
Sometimes we like to step outside of the Internet and see your lovely faces in person. Most recently, we mingled at Supergraph, one of Australia’s largest design and art fairs. Despite wet weather, our resident artists (have you met these guys yet?) Creature Creature stopped by to paint up some skateboards and introduce Melbourne to some of the faces behind the art of Redbubble.
See the whole Supergraph feature on the Redbubble blog.
Have you been keeping up with our Artists-in-Residence program in Melbourne, AUS?
From our blog: “Something pretty special has been brewing here at Melbourne HQ, and we’re pretty chuffed to be sharing it as it debuts: throughout the next 12 weeks, Redbubble will be hosting 3 artists in our brand new, shiny, amazing residency space (insert many high pitched squeals right here).” Click the pic to read the whole feature!
One of our biggest beliefs at Redbubble is that art doesn’t just belong on walls. It belongs on shirts, pillows, mugs, and anywhere else it can color our world. We took that mission to the streets in Melbourne Nov. 28 and 29 for the Art+Mel event, filling the world-class art city’s Federation Square with wearable, nappable, stickable art. Some of our most popular artists painted the city’s famous laneways while DJs spun, and the people of Melbourne learned that Redbubble is busting down walls when it comes to art.
