I am preparing to be mortified...

Step 1: Put your media player on random
Step 2: Post the first line(s) of the first 25 11 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song.  (Had to skip over the instrumental ones, the techno non-sensical ones, lots of Cure songs (because otherwise over half the quiz would have been the Cure which is odd as The Cure almost never comes up in a random shuffle)and the ones in Chinese.  I also made it 11 as I don't want people guessing forever!)
Step 3: Post and let everyone guess what song and artist the lines come from.


While I can recognize the artist and usually the title after a few bars of any given song, the first lyric usually stumps me.  Unless it is an old Cure or Depeche Mode song - because when I was 15 I memorized them all!  Guess, I don't read much into lyrics anymore.  This has been fun.  I would have never guessed a lot of these songs without googling for the lyrics.  Enjoy.  I wonder how you all will do.  Some of these are really easy as the title is in the first line...
