One of the main reasons I’ve always considered Gorillaz one of my favorite bands of all time is that they constantly dare to explore new horizons: they jump between genres and, in the process, take you on completely unexpected sonic adventures. In their latest album, the Indian influence is more than evident and, although it might not be everyone’s cup of tea here in the West (myself included), I appreciate that Gorillaz have exposed me to this new experience.
