Lady Sovereign's album, Jigsaw, came out this week... is anyone going to her album release party in NYC? I heard it's going to be unreal. love the album.

Has anyone heard any of Lady Sovereigns new music?!? She has a new album called "Jigsaw" and it comes out on April 7th in the US. It's so good! I love it even more than her last album. It features "I Got You Dancing" and "So Human" which samples The Cure!!

People round da way who didn't like da flo of hip hop asked Kyng to hop on da mic bout a year ago, his style is uncomparable but if there had to be a comparision many would say OUTKAST (only in that you can always expect something different n entertainin) now he has EIGHT tracks on da SOUNCLICK charts, has music being played on internet radio stations n mixtapes (unsigned hype volume 4 by DJ DESTINY/twisted studios)... reppin da underground MC who will make it based on skillz as opposed to PURCHASED HYPE - expect big things to come...

Hey guys! I am new to this community! I was just wondering if anyone read the book, Make It Happen By Kevin Liles. It's a book about the hip hop industry and how Liles made it from intern to president at Def Jam. It's kind of cool.

For those of you who don't know, mash-ups are (according to this article in the Boston Globe) are previously recorded songs that are digitally blended to make something new. Alas, I haven't had much luck in finding any of the ones listed in the article. I want to listen! If anyone else has had luck in finding these, let me know please. Thank you.

These are songs from the rap group Brain Trauma which consists of MCs relliK laireS and Toxik Flow. We are based out of Charleston, WV.
