Update 2023: Two years after I joined the trend and I’m seeing "Now" pages on a lot of the personal websites I’m visiting. I think that’s totally awesome. The personal Web is alive and well!
Update 2026: The "/now" page is practically ubiquitous across personal sites. I’ve seen other "slash pages" cropping up and there’s even a website explaining the trend: https://slashpages.net/
