Well I'm back to job hunting and also hoping one of the temp. services will come up with something for me.
I just can't seem to get ahead. Now I'm going to have to ask the church to help me out again.
I can't even donate anymore money to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Found out from my son that he just barely got a be in Accounting. Mr. Genius! I thought he got A's in everything! Especially anything involving Math! I wonder now what my chances are of passing the class?
I ask him why and he says - "Well you know, the class is hard". Well I'm figuring it's going to be hard but I also figured it wouldn't be so hard for him! I was wrong!

Well if all that wasn't bad enough- my subscription to my virus protection is about to expire in the next day or so and Jimmie is in the 24th spot for tonight's race. Damn! Bleep! *#(&&%/!!$#!!!!!

I'm sure I can come up with some more stuff to go on about but I guess I'll leave it at that for now.

They just keep feeding us and we eat it up, don't we???? Do you ever wonder if perhaps we secretly wait for the next big story, the next big tragedy- just so we can sit and watch our sets or listen to the radio or get on line, etc. Perhaps we don't consiously do it. Perhaps it's something inside us that we aren't really consiously aware of but comes out when these things do happen. It's something I really can't explain. It's not so much that we want something like the tragedy in New Orleans (and the other places hit by the hurricane) to happen, yet we are compelled to eat up the stories about it all. We sit like zombies in front of our t.v.'s and gawk. Yes- we help as well. How can we not? It just all so crazy.
And the news people - yes- it's their job, but....
After awhile it becomes a real SHOW. The promos, etc. "WE BROUGHT YOU THE FIRST FOOTAGE" or "STAY TUNED FOR THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE NEWS ON THIS AND OTHER STORIES" , etc. It's all about ratings. And like I said before- we eat it up, like it was candy or some drug, that we just can't seem to get enough of.
Perhaps our lives are just that boring. Maybe we want to see some REAL reality TV. There are many reasons I suppose. Perhaps we watch just so we know it's real and can and does happen.

Man! I am SO bored again! I really need a job! Sometimes life just plain SUCKS!!!!
I have to go down to the college tomorrow so I can get my stuff staightened out. They have one of my courses as being incomplete. I can't make any sense of what they mean. I took the BLEEPING course! Hopefully they can help me.

It's too BLEEPING HOT!!!! Come on Winter! (Yeah - I know- then I'll be complaining about being too cold).
Actually I think I deal better with the cold than the heat.
