Randominity

The Nerd King uses a Kleenex, and then, instead of throwing it out completely, he tears a small strip off and discards the rest. He then thoughtfully lowers the strip of Kleenex into the flame of a nearby candle, flips out, and tosses the flaming tissue into the sink.

After observing this event from the sofa, I asked casually, "so, was that one of those moments where you knew it was a bad idea even as you were doing it?"

"Absolutely," the Nerd King said, returning to his seat. "I thought, 'there is no way this can possibly end well.'"

"Well, I'm glad that worked out for you," I said.

"Yeah; if I was seventeen I would have put the whole Kleenex box on there."
