Randominity

Well, it's one of those increasingly rare Saturdays during which the NK has some stuff to take care of and so we only hung out last night (including napping a bit, lordy, we're so old and tired!) and I have the weekend free! It's not that I don't want to see the NK, but more like, now I don't have to get the laundry done by X o'clock, or I don't have to vacuum, or take the trash out just yet, etc. etc. I can lay around in my housecoat and pet my cats and eat junk food and game. All of which I am doing. Heee.

Media: This weekend would be an excellent time to catch up on the shows that I watch that are still running. For the past month or so I have been exclusively watching ST:DS9 and Babylon 5 with the NK, and both are awesome (aside: we went to the Star Trek Tour thing in Long Beach where I was unceremoniously spoiled for my favorite character in DS9. Bugger). But SGA, House, and Little Mosque on the Prairie have been woefully unattended to. Must. download. immediately. for vegetative purposes.

Gaming: I did reroll my Draenei in WoW, because I am that lame, but I only have her to level 11 so far because I can't bear re-doing all those quests again in one sitting. Also since I'm becoming obsessed with Perfect World. (here) for more caps, btw, as I have created a new character and done some more cool stuff. I found out you can edit your character's appearance for up to 2 days after you create them, so if you want to tweak something you don't have to delete them! OMGWTF. Character creation HEAVEN (if I'd been able to do that with my Draenei I wouldn't be in this level 11 mess to begin with, sigh)! Hence, I am fiddling with everyone tons and tons. Gameplay is fine so far (haven't died yet!), though there's a weird lag when I use spells sometimes, and I haven't quite figured out how to train my skills, and not everyone speaks English, what with the client being based in Malaysia, and the game itself is like HI ENGRISH!, lol, but sadly enough none of these is enough to deter me from playing yet, because .... so, so, so pretty. Also, once I was just standing around making screencaps, and someone flew by and randomly cast like a billion buffs on me, which was SO NICE. I forgot that nice part of playing non-instanced MMOs (and MUDs).

But first, I eat. Waffles at 4pm, yay!
