Well, hmmm! What are my thoughts on this so far....
* I still like House (the character AND the show) a lot, and I'm still surprised that I do (for both). I still don't think House is as obnoxious or asshole-ish as character descriptions make him out to be, but that may just be because words on a page don't convey Hugh Laurie's charm well enough. Really, from what I was hearing, I thought he'd be, like, a raging Neo-Nazi or something (not really, but you know what I mean, I hope). He's not even as bad as Archie Bunker, who was pretty likeable himself back in the day.
* House and Wilson are so in love that I can't actually believe how in love the show portrays them to be. I mean, do they ever cling to each other in the course of the series? Because that's about the only thing less gay about them than Two/Jamie. They are so totally soulmates that it hurts, and also, SOULMATES.
* Chase: since when is the pretty boy EVER the type to breach my top five (or top anything) favorite characters out of ANYTHING? EVER? Discuss.
* House/Foreman: my secondary OTP. That is all.
* Cameron: Not impressed with her. I admit the TWOP recapper, who HATES Cameron, may have swayed my opinion on this a bit, but once I got to the bit where Cameron REFUSES to come back to her job unless House goes on a date with her? What the hellity hell? For real? I am just tired of her and her simpering anime eyes. Really. WTF Cameron? Are you twelve? Are you SERIOUSLY TWELVE? Please, god, no more House/Cameron. PLEASE. (although I may have hugged myself and squeed, "AWWWWW OH MY GOD AWWWW" when House whipped out the freaking CORSAGE that he got for their date. Oh, House.)
* Three Stories: Everything I heard it would be, and more. Awesome episode. The bits where House is narrating and Chase/Cameron/Foreman are acting it out are so priceless, like Cameron's patient history and the gossip about the boy she passed on, or when House was saying everything REALLLY SLLLOOOWWW, and when Chase and Foreman had to go get the dog, hahaha, lmao. Also: oh, House.

Date: 2007-06-24 02:49 pm (UTC)God, yes! It is the best episode of House ever, and I don't think I'm exaggerating there. It's just made of win.
I should have more to say about that, but there needs to be coffee in my life first. *g*
