Hmmm, I wonder if I can recap this.
Wow, that's a whole lotta previouslies, hahaha. But then again, I'm not supposed to be seeing this until March, so sure! Why not refresh my memory!
Oooh, so O'Neill and Woolsey are still alive (surprise, not). For a second there it was almost like Woolsey was like the new McKay, fresh-faced with inexperience and stupid tactical errors, ahaha. I like O'Neill's lack of faith in the rescue team. 'Cause seriously? Not EXACTLY the kind of team I would expect to be successful rescuing me unless I watched the show.
Landry de-activating everyone's IDCs made me shed an emo tear. :( :( :( Though I like how nobody wants to go along with his plans. Everyone's all "but. but-- *pout* .....okayyyyy."
The "frozen goods" joke was SO BAD, OMG Sheppard. HEART. I appreciated Weir's "freeze it, then kill it with fire! Then ass-rape it, then kill it with fire some more! Also, kill it with fire!" stance on Niam, lol. Rodney's "oh...... dear." made me laugh and laugh.
I was going to question the wisdom of leaving Rodney alone with frozen!Niam, but he comported himself quite nicely, if I do say so myself. Rodney + firearms is rapidly starting to = win, and I like that growth a lot.
And then the plan (Sheppard and McKay were a team! heee!). Ahaha. Okay, blah blah plan, and I died laughing at the rewinding gag, and also O'Neill calling the C-4 plan Plan F (!!! LOL!). The first time through I admit to thinking, "jesus, Rodney, how did you ever work for a classified project? A beer and a blowjob later, and you'd be blabbing national secrets to anyone who'd listen!" So I underestimated him a bit. Bad Em.
But what I'm wondering is, I thought the replicators had become immune to the ARG blasts: didn't Ronon try shooting them before they took him and Elizabeth, and they went all red instead of blue? Or am I supposed to assume that there was some changed setting or something as a fake-out? [ETA: Oh, I got it. Ahaha.]
Poor Woolsey, lol. That was how Rodney felt when he got blinded by the flash-bangs, a season ago, and now he gets to come up with the fake-out plan! HEART.
I still think everyone should have been fired anyway, though. I mean, RULES much? Not the way the show works, obviously, since I want to keep watching this group ON the show, but really. That said, Weir's hug of O'Neill was adorable. She was up on her tip-toes and everything! I wish they'd let Torri be cute more often. :/
...also also, um.... does this mean they have extra ZPMs now? I take it Lee didn't actually blow the hell out of the midway station :).
All in all, this episode made me happy and happy on top of happy, and dammit, I've just missed this show so much. *squeezes it* Bless the Canadian fans!
