Brief, because my eyes are closed:
I can see. Vision 20/25 and could drive home from the post-op this morning. My eyes feel fine, right eye a little scratchy but that's to be expected. The actual laserizing took 40 SECONDS but there was a lot of sitting around fretting before that. Xanax is pretty cool. I didn't cry, but I did bust into a silly grin when the doc declared it over and I looked up and could see the attendant's face.
Next up, I sit with my eyes closed some more (boring) and then go into work this afternoon..... and then................?
ZOMG I SURVIVED LASIK. \o/
My icon is no longer applicable to me. *sniff*
ETA: I posted a detailed account of my experience to the
lasik community [here].
ETA2: My bad - my vision was actually 20/25, not 20/30, at the one day post-op.
