randominityOkay, I'm just going to post this before I even go to look things up, so this could be embarrassing.
As I was laying in bed last night, having stayed up way too late completing bonus missions on Guild Wars (I'm addicted to pick-up groups, unpredictable as they are), I started thinking about The Monkees. Specifically, I started thinking about Monkees slash. I know there's Monkees slash out there (I'd looked for it once before, briefly), but I've never read any, and I don't know what made me think of it now. But I was heavy-duty into them back in '86 when old episodes of the show were airing on Nickelodeon, only at the time I was nine and so, you know, I wasn't exactly thinking in slashy terms, so suddenly I'm considering things like, who would I slash with whom? I don't even know who was close! And also, if I were to read or, say, write, Monkees slash, would it be RPS (i.e. outside of the show universe) or FPS (i.e. basically writing episodes of the show)?
I mean, on the one hand, in the show 'verse anything can happen, wacky zany magical adventuresand mpreg and such, but on the other hand, Peter's a moron, and that makes me kind of sad. And then I realized that I guess Peter's sort of my favorite, today. And then I was all, um, I want to read Mike/Peter? And suddenly I'm looking for torrents of the show, and have written half a porny episode in my head, and, um, help, help.

I'm downloading Head and some random episodes now, and I'll have a better idea of the group dynamics in a while, so you never know. That is, of course, if this isn't just a passing fancy. LOL.
Yay for another potential shared fandom, though! \o/
