Raistlin Fanfictions

So, I've started two Raistlin fanfictions recently...one is pure Raistlin, about his two years in the Tower prior to going back in time to fight Takhisis and whatnot, so it will cover the creation of the Live Ones, Caramon's letter, and Dalamar's introduction has his apprentice/spy. I'm also planning on going through the Twin's Trilogy purely from Raistlin's point of view in this fanfic. The other fanfiction is Raistlin/Crysania, at the end of Dragons of a Vanished Moon. This one is...well, I'm not really all that happy with it, mostly because it promotes a bunch of sappy bs I don't believe in, but eh. It got a favorite, so I'll look past the fact that I am blatantly pandering to fluff audiences. The links to the two fanfics can be found below, if anyone wants to read/drop a review. :D

Thank the blessed gods on Krynn. Finally some other Dragonlance (and specifically Raistlin) fans.

(The bald picture of Tom Hiddleston is a bit off-putting, and Raistlin's jumping from emotion to emotion is a bit reminiscent of a borderline personality disorder, but, all-in-all, pretty good. Captures Raistlin's personality very well.)

(Bit fluffly, and I feel that Raistlin has become far too nice, seeing as he still had quite the barbed tongue in the War of Souls, but, besides the lack of cynicism, I suppose this appeals to the part of me that kind of liked the whole Raistlin/Crysania thing. Ah well, try it if you want. :shrug:)

LJ's been sending out notifications to the owners of inactive communities. I don't want this one to go under, so here's an update. (Even if these books are fading off the shelves of book retailers, they were still a very large part of my childhood. I don't want them or this community to disappear!)

It's also nice to know people are still making beautiful art out there.

Young adult novel discussion

Has anyone picked up any of the supposed 'young adult' novels? I've read A Rumor of Dragons but they've been ridiculously difficult to find. Has it been easier to find them where you're at, or is this series news to you? It was news to me! I've made it a mission to slowly track down a copy of each edition and read it. I need to give this one a re-read once I pick up its sequels. Thankfully Christmas is coming up so it won't be long before I can shamelessly spoil myself with books.

I know the Dragonlance movie is a sin when compared to the books (ugh, it's so horrible I don't even--) but I like Raistlin (his voice was lush) so I iconned it anyway. Don't stone me!
