I just wanted to wish everyone good luck at states this saturday.

Ruddy has officially moved to Flushing, right across from Cantwil. A bunch of kids went and helped him move today, (seven of them being from the drumline!). Mr. Kirbitz was there to take pictures, of course.

He used the semi and trailer instead of hiring a moving van, and used the kids instead of paying for labor... we got a buttload of pizza and pop, though, so it was alright.

His house is freakin' sweet, and we are trying to convince him to have a party. :D It would be rockin'.


...Just to keep you all informed.

Band camp is starting this Monday! I am excited and so should everyone else. I forsee this year being great, despite its early season setbacks. I look forward to seeing where Erik Baldwin takes the pit this season.

You guys should post up all the dates that you're performing...I was looking for like the comps, but do the football games too, cuz I don't think I can make it to MIT b/c I have a Tekken 5 tournament that day :-/
...And I neither will drive to Clartkston nor will I ride the bus.

i hope you're all doing well. im very excited for this upcoming season, especially since the pit should be good this year with Erik's (with a K) help. im finally able to get this community up to speed now. i plan on getting an account on photobucket or something like that so i can pimp this bizzatch out!

Hey everybody, Emily here!

I figured this was the best way to spread the word around, since we've been having all these crazy snow days! :) This weekend the winter guard's having a competition in Montrose, which's only 15 glorious minutes away from Flushing. We really wanna have a lot of Flushing support, so if you can come that would be awesome!

But ya know, a lot of people don't drive. If you don't, you can be a roadie! Being a roadie's a lot of fun, you get a free ride up there, you get to stand around and talk to the other roadies, get in for free, AND you get a fun little badge to wear that either says you Brian Liwak, a Booster, or an Instructor! If you're interested, post a comment and I'll give ya more info!

One more reason to go. You get to see guard from schools like Reeths-Puffer, Southgate Anderson, Plymouth Canton, and Lakeland, and then compare them to their marching bands! I promise, it's good fun....

Alrighty! This will be my first post here. I used to be i_like_tacos, and I still am Kasey. There's my little intro for those of you who don't know me. (Why you wouldn't, I'm not sure.)

Anyway-

Preseason drumline will be held every Tuesday from 6-9PM. We currently have two freshmen coming in, so tell everyone you know about it. Have them show up, even if they just plan to watch. It will be the best thing in their life if they end up joining, I can say that from experience.

Percussion Ensemble will be held every Thursday from 6-9PM. This year is not audition-only, so if you play a wind instrument or are in guard and want to dabble a bit in percussion, feel free to stop by. In fact, I highly reccommend it.


Paul Williams is teaching both of these activities, with help from Eric Williams on Tuesdays.

ALSO: If you have musical talent and are looking for an elective class, Percussion Ensemble is being offered sixth hour second semester. Paul will teach Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Mr. Ruddy will teach the remaining, with a lesson plan prepared by Paul.
