Another of Cumulus Media’s Country stations has dropped the “Nash-FM” brand.
99.5 WPKR Omro/Oshkosh WI rebranded on Monday as “99.5 PKR“. The station retains its existing on-air lineup of Westwood One’s “Morning Koffy”, Boomer in middays, Cumulus Appleton Operations Manager/WPKR Program Director Brian Davis in afternoons, and Westwood One’s “With Elaina” at night. The station is now positioning as “New Country Now”.
WPKR previously branded as “Packer Country“, “The Wolf” and “Nash-FM‘ during its three decade run as a Country station. The station had been one of the first in the company to take on the “Nash-FM” identity in May 2013.
The move leaves Cumulus with just nine “Nash-FM” stations remaining following last week’s rebranding of WFBE Flint MI.
