Educational Media Foundation has shut down its “K-Love Classics” brand.
Launched in 2018 focusing on Christian hits of the 1980s through early 2000s, “K-Love Classics” aired mostly on HD subchannels of “K-Love” stations, but also was heard on analog signals in a handful of markets including: Jonesboro AR, Monterey and Palm Springs CA, Fayetteville NC, Toledo OH, Portland OR, and Pittsburgh PA. Those signals are now airing EMF’s “K-Love Christmas” programming.
In response to some listener inquiries regarding the change, EMF staffers wrote “We’re doing some work and development with our streaming choices; we’re working on some refresh and surprises in 2021 so please stay tuned! “.
