I'M BRINGING BACK THE RANT SAGA, I'm officially calling it the mitosis saga because I find it suiting. If you're curious where this rant began, check this post out

Sex complaint number one: I hate that men are stereotyped to be sex obsessed, I mean, yeah, there are men that are sex obsessed. I have met a few online and offline, but it doesn't mean every man is sex obsessed because I have met men who are focused on other things like solid careers or even their partners in a romantic sense.

Sex complaint number 2: doggy style, I don't have a big problem with the position. It's just the name of the position. I mean, it does resemble two dogs mating, but allosexuals could've come up with a different name. Let me give you one: cowboy style. Since allosexuals have cowgirl, why not have cowboy?

Sex complaint number 3: the double standards :/ , I heard of a double standard that a guy can have sex all he wants but then complain about a girl he started dating having a body count. I hate double standards in general, but this one throws me off. I mean, sure, you can want a partner who's less experienced when you're inexperienced yourself and you could be eachothers first time, but when you're experienced and the other isn't? It sounds sweet on paper, but in reality, it sounds like wanting someone with less experience just for the sake of feeling a little better about yourself.

I think shows, animes, and films without any romance are more interesting than shows/animes/films that do include romance, if you wanna argue. Argue with the puppet.

I'm mostly joking, but let me elaborate. In my experience, any media that doesn't include romance makes the viewer focus more on the plot instead of the romantic relationships included. I did notice that media's that don't include any romance do get the treatment of people shipping two characters, and I do think it's nice at times, but other times it takes away from the point of the media, because the point isn't how the characters might end up but it's how they're involved with the plot and interact with other characters such as rivals, acquaintances, friends and even relatives.

I've mostly noticed shipping culture on certain social media's like tiktok, here on tumblr, and even Discord, but sometimes I do see where people come from when they ship two characters that are canonically in a platonic relationship, and I've indulged in it once and it's isn't bad but in my experience I just want to focus on the show, plots and characters in an the canon typical way they're depicted.
