As it always goes
I've been away from LJ for so long that it took me a while to remember my password!
Though, it's not really surprising considering the lack of change in my life. I swear, there is not point asking me "How are things? What's new with you?" especially not on MSN. you KNOW my answer will be "Same old...net. sleep. food. little bit of uni."
Then again.. even when there is change, I lack the stamina to recreate the event in words. This may also explain my lack of writing in general.
But as always. I have become bored. No one to chat to. Facebook inactive for the moment. Hungry, but not really... I've returned to ramble a bit.
So, what's new? Since New Years-ish?
Well I'm now back to leeching off my parents, after resigning from Target in February. This decision prompted by the overload of my final autumn semester and year long research project (which i should be working on now.. but with my wireless network.. just too distracted).
That was also the summer of my professional internship - do not wish to talk about that - and family holiday to Perth.
Fremantle is pretty, weather was nice - really sunny and no clouds aka boiling hot, but honestly, no clouds! how rare is that?! - food prices were atrocious (groceries) and Woolies and Coles closed WAY earlier than IGA Supermarkets.. i nearly fainted.
I did feel like a bit of a walking art exhibition, being asian and all, but people were friendly. It's too quiet for me though. Well Fremantle was.. Perth, only spent a day there, half a day more like, no where as busy as Sydney. Though I did seem to "trip over" a few people like I do when in crowds and they're walking too slow or I'm trying to overtake them.. etc etc.
This year and next year are the "Years of the 21sts" for 'my grade' and I've made a vow to myself that this year I will not miss any birthday parties which I am invited to. OMG.. I'm starting to regret it... i'm finding it hard to negotiate parties which occur on the same day! Should rethink that resolution..
It's spring semester now and if all goes according to plan, my final semester. ONE subject to go. Which, contrary to popular belief, is not all that fantastic cause it means i'm at home 6 days a week and TOTALLY unmotivated...
Really need a kick in the butt.
But overall, not much has changed.
