So, I was browsing basic_icontest's past challenges and saved a bunch of base icons to try my hands at making new icons since it's been forever the last time I really opened up Photoshop CS6 and played around.

I have very few textures nowadays because I cleaned up a part of one of my hard drives and I tried a new technique as well.

These are pretty bright, if I do say so myself...

After a long, unplanned, time away due to my Photoshop not working properly, it finally started behaving normally and so I took it for a test run. I don't have a lot of icons but I thought I'd share them anyway.

Thought I'd do something a little different this time around and not use any movies or TV shows.

Think it's time I start really making and posting icons. Been downloading a bunch of textures to try and experiment. Textures sort of scare me.

I realized that I am still missing the icons made for the movie Cruel Intentions, High School Musical and episode 1 of the original Sailor Moon. And there might be a few more icons missing, some I have made most recently. I'll look into that and make one more archives post once I figure it all out.
