Stash-ventory
Just for fun, I'm typing up my list of designs in the "to be stitched" basket. There's definitely more on my wish list, but these are the designs I actually have the charts for. Some of the Mirabilia Queens and fairies aren't my current style so much anymore, but several of my friends have daughters who would probably like them as they get older. Top priorities for me include the Chatelaine mandalas, Russian eggs, and i'd like to eventually have a full set of the botanical pillows to rotate with the seasons too. I wonder how long these could keep me busy?
This is the result of collecting charts since around 2004-2005 - a long time ago I gave myself permission to buy charts as I found them since there's so much unattractive stuff out there - it makes sense to accumulate the good stuff as you find it and worry about when you'll stitch it later. The majority of these I've bought myself over time - some of them were gifts from stitching exchanges, traded with other stitchers, or RAK ("Random Acts of Kindness") gifts from people on stitching message boards. Almost all of the Donna Vermillion Giampa pillow designs were sent to me as a RAK by thoughtful stitchers who knew I wanted them and had extras - these are considered collectibles.
( whoooooooo! show us yer stash! whoooooooo!Collapse )
