I've got plenty to do, so why am I bored?
I R SMART! Somehow I managed to throw my back out. The pain is mostly in the left side of my back radiating into my hip and down my leg. This really puts into perspective the fact that I need to exercise. Otherwise, I'm going to be in serious trouble when I get even older.
sisyphean is back for Christmas!! I got to see her yesterday and that was awesome. Except it must really have felt like she was away for a long time because I was like, "Oh, you've been away a year, right?" WTF? I seem to have lost my brain in the process of getting my back injury.
We were talking about how when you have all this time off, you don't do anything. Then you feel guilty about not doing anything, so you do even less and thus perpetuate the cycle of doing nothing. Yet, when you're so busy you feel like you're going to meet your ass coming while you're going, you suddenly want to do everything and somehow manage to do so.
I want to write. I got on here with the intention of seeing how long I could stand sitting on the computer before my back bitched at me and get some writing done. Um... I opened my NaNo chapter 6 and just stared at it a while.
Damn. I've got to get back to working so I'll start writing again...
The logic of this is really retarded. I've been off work a MONTH and I could've written a novel in that time if I applied myself. But, nope. Haven't written on NaNo since December 3rd.
