I feel like I should say something about this...this was weird to write because I'm always the migratory, wandering one, I want to see all the world has to offer and can't imagine being pinned down in one place, so this is kind of the flip side of that. I don't know if it works, but writing Dustfinger's POV doesn't ever work for me, so here this is.
