Not a joke. You cannot make a safe space for white people. If you adhere to white safety and comfort then you will become a white supremacist space. You have to understand that I'm not just talking about overtly wanting "white safe spaces," which is something I've seen a lot of people mistaking this for in the tags. This is something that happens even in day-to-day spaces. The catering to white comforts, the coddling of white discomfort, the censoring and siphoning off of racialized people as a result. You need to be able to identify this, call it out, and cultivate safer spaces for racialized people.
